Laurence M. Gelman, President
Larry Gelman has thirty-three years in the benefits business. Prior to forming Benefit Outsourcing Solutions, Inc., Larry was a Senior Partner of Coopers
& Lybrand L.L.P. with regional responsibility for its health care consulting practice
throughout the Midwest. Clients included health care systems, major managed care plans,
Fortune 100 plan sponsors and government entities. Prior to joining Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P.,
Larry was a Principal and Detroit Health Care Practice Leader for William M. Mercer, Inc.
Before entering the consulting
business, he held a variety of regional management roles with John Hancock's group health
division over an eleven-year period. Larry holds an MBA from St. John's University with
an emphasis in finance and an undergraduate degree from Long Island University in law.
James Wroe, Chief Operating Officer
Jim Wroe has thirty-three years in the benefits business. Prior to joining BOS, Jim was with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan where he was in charge of the Chrysler Corporation account. Jim worked for John Hancock's group insurance operations, with responsibilities for finance, underwriting, marketing and client services. His last position at John Hancock was as the account executive in charge of the Ford Motor Company account. He also worked for large consulting firms, such as William M. Mercer, Inc. and Buck Consulting. Jim received a master's degree in educational administration from Cleveland State University and is a graduate of Defiance College with a degree in mathematics.
Jennifer Jones, Chief Information Officer
Jennifer Jones has twenty years experience in the information services business.
Prior to joining BOS, Jennifer was a software development consultant working for clients such
as Ford Motor Company, IBM, Chrysler Corporation, R. L. Polk, Federal Mogul and
Campbell-Ewald. As Chief Information Officer, Jennifer is responsible for the company's
technology systems. Jennifer received both a master's degree and bachelor of science degree in
computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Terrance Dunn, Director of Marketing
Terry Dunn has more than twenty-five years of diversified employee benefits consulting
experience, with a particular emphasis on defined benefit and defined contribution retirement
plans. Prior to joining Benefit Outsourcing Solutions, Terry was the Carolina's Human Capital
Practice leader for two national benefits consulting firms. Terry also worked for the Pension Benefit
Guaranty Corporation. Terry is a graduate of Florida State University and has an MBA from
Xavier. Terry is also a Certified Public Accountant.
